Your kitchen cabinets will set the tone for the rest of your kitchen. Depending on your cabinets and style, you can decide on the color for your walls and the material for the kitchen countertops. Decide on your cabinets first and then make decisions about other elements of your kitchen. The design should complement easily with the colors and the materials used.
When it comes to kitchen cabinets you can choose between custom kitchen cabinets, stock cabinets or semi custom cabinets. Stock cabinets are exactly that -- you chose from a limited range of styles and material that are available in stock and you pick a design that you like. Obviously a stock kitchen cabinet will not make allowances for your special needs. A custom kitchen cabinet on the other hand will be designed taking your needs into consideration. You can make as many drawers, cabinets and other storage spaces that you need and incorporate other space saving or storage elements that you desire. A semi custom cabinet won't need as long as custom cabinets to execute, but do have other details that you want included.
When it comes to the material on your kitchen cabinets you are again limited by your budget. Cherry kitchen cabinets can give your kitchen a warm glow and also that unrivalled in its elegance. They are expensive however but with some amount of maintenance they can last almost as long as your house. They also attain a vintage look as they age. If you're looking for a discount kitchen cabinet, you might consider materials like laminates that are inexpensive and easy to look after. A more expensive long lasting material is always a better choice for your Los Angeles, California area kitchen cabinets because you save on the task of refacing or replacing the cabinets after a while.
We need estimate on rebuilding 3 of our kitchen cabinets and refinishing the remainder of the cabinets, as well as a quote for all new cabinets, also looking in to new counter tops.

I have a very old and relatively small kitchen. I would like to update all appliances, floor, and backsplash, replace countertops, and paint. I am looking for a more functional kitchen with more modern updates. I know I would rather just refinish/resurface my cabinets if possible. I am also interested in seeing a couple of designs to knock out a wall to open up the space if possible. I am also open to seeing my kitchen reconfigured to help the flow and functionality of things. Thanks for your help.
